Product Description

One-Stop Service for Aluminum Profile Extrusion: Mold Creation, Extrusion, and CNC Machining

—Customized Solutions for Precision 6061/6063 Aluminum Alloy Components

Product Overview

We are a comprehensive manufacturing enterprise integrating aluminum profile mold design and development, extrusion, precision CNC machining, and surface treatment, offering a complete one-stop service from raw materials to finished products. Whether you require components made from 6061, 6063, 6082, 7075, or other aluminum alloy grades, we provide end-to-end solutions—from custom mold creation to final product delivery.

6061 aluminum alloy is a heat-treatable Al-Mg-Si alloy offering excellent formability, weldability, and machinability. It possesses moderate strength and maintains good workability even after annealing. Its primary alloying elements are magnesium and silicon, which form the strengthening phase Mg2Si; in the T6 temper, it achieves a tensile strength of 310 MPa, a yield strength of 276 MPa, and a Brinell hardness of 95 HB. Thanks to its outstanding overall properties, 6061 aluminum is widely used in fixtures, trucks, tower structures, marine vessels, piping, automation machinery parts, precision machining, mold making, electronics and precision instruments, SMT, and PCB soldering carriers.

6063 aluminum alloy offers superior extrusion characteristics and surface finish, making it particularly suitable for profiles with complex cross-sections; it also boasts superior weldability and corrosion resistance.

Choosing between the two essentially involves balancing strength and formability: 6061 is ideal for structural, load-bearing applications, whereas 6063 dominates the field of architectural decoration.

Our Core Service Capabilities

Mold Design and Profile Extrusion Tooling

We possess a professional mold design team capable of developing custom aluminum extrusion molds based on customer-provided drawings or product concepts. The die-making process includes:

Product design and analysis: Evaluating the product structure for extrudability, wall thickness suitability, dimensional tolerance requirements, etc.

Material selection: Recommending suitable aluminum alloys (e.g., 6061, 6063) based on product performance requirements.

Die manufacturing: Fabricating extrusion dies from high-strength alloy steel to ensure precision and service life.

Extrusion process planning: Optimally matching extrusion press tonnage, temperature, and speed based on factors such as die specifications, product dimensions, and linear density.

Aluminum Profile Extrusion

We operate comprehensive aluminum profile extrusion production lines. The extrusion process includes:

Billet heating (soaking at 480°C) → Die heating to 480°C → Extrusion → Pulling → Straightening → Aging → Cooling. By strictly controlling billet heating, extrusion speed, and in-line quenching, we ensure excellent mechanical properties and a uniform microstructure in the profiles. We can extrude a wide range of profile lengths to meet diverse product specifications.

CNC Precision Machining

Extruded aluminum profiles can undergo secondary deep processing at our CNC precision machining centers. We are equipped with multiple high-speed, multi-axis CNC machining centers (3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis) and precision turn-mill machines. Our machining capabilities include:

Milling: Face milling, contour milling, and machining of irregular slots

Turning: Precision external and internal turning

Drilling and Tapping: High-precision hole positioning and threading

Other Processes: Chamfering, cutting, etc.

Machining precision reaches ±0.01mm, compatible with various aluminum alloys such as 6061, 6063, and 7075. 6061 aluminum alloy demonstrates excellent machinability; it does not stick to or break the cutting tool during processing, making it ideal for precision operations like milling, turning, and drilling.

Surface Treatment Services

We offer comprehensive surface treatment services for aluminum alloys, meeting diverse requirements for product appearance and performance across various applications:

Grinding and Polishing

We employ mechanical, chemical, or electrolytic polishing processes to reduce surface roughness and achieve a bright, smooth finish. Combining mechanical polishing with electrolytic polishing allows aluminum parts to achieve a mirror-like finish comparable to stainless steel.

Brushed Finish

This process involves creating linear textures on the aluminum surface using sandpaper or abrasive media. Brushed finishes come in various styles, including straight-line, random, swirl, and threaded patterns. The resulting surface features a fine, hair-like sheen that conveys a blend of modern style and high-tech aesthetics.

Anodizing

Uses electrochemical principles to form an aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) layer on the surface of aluminum alloys. This oxide layer offers protective, decorative, insulating, and wear-resistant properties. Anodized parts can be colored; Type II anodizing is the most common process, where the oxide layer grows outward from the substrate without affecting the part's precision fit dimensions. 6061 aluminum alloy yields excellent anodizing results.

Powder Coating

Powder coating is applied to the workpiece surface using electrostatic spraying equipment and then cured at high temperatures to form a coating. The resulting coating is relatively thick, making it ideal for outdoor aluminum alloy products.

Electroplating

A metal film is deposited onto the metal surface via electrolysis to enhance wear resistance, electrical conductivity, reflectivity, and aesthetic appeal.
